Accounting Technician

NEW Accounting Technician position with a top client in the agri-food sector who continue to grow their success across the UK & Ireland. Joining this finance team, you will be responsible for:

• Accurate account reconciliations
• Maintaining Fixed Assets registrer
• Assist with accounts preparation 
• Assist with ledger maintenance
• Support with Sales Ledger duties
• Timely preparation of customs declarations
• VAT Returns
• Ad-hoc duties to support the finance team

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years’ experience in an accounts/finance role.
• Accounting Technician qualification or studying towards is desireable
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, with strong proficiency in Excel.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize workload and proven ability to meet deadlines.
• A proactive team-player, with good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

We are now welcoming applications for this role which is being offered as a 12 month fixed term contract, on a full time basis.

Working hours are flexible with an early finish on Fridays. This role is office based in the BT71 area.
