The Abacus Talent Group is an award-winning, locally owned and managed service business, the key parts of the group are the recruitment business Abacus Careers and the events business PoweredByTalent. One of our colleagues from the Finance department, Claire, is going off on maternity leave in September to have her first baby (we are nearly as excited as she is. A number of the team have even offered advice on a name for her baby). As a result, we now need to appoint a new member to the team to ensure the smooth running of the department.

On offer to the successful candidate appointed as Accounting Technician:

  • 4 day week – 2 days per week in the office in Belfast city centre
  • 1 year contract with £2k completion bonus
  • Basic salary to £28,000 per annum
  • 30 days holiday including 9 statutory days

To apply for this role you need to be:

  • Fully qualified as an Accounting Technician.
  • Possess at least 4 years relevant work experience in a finance office covering Sales & Purchase Ledger, Month End Procedures, Weekly & Monthly Payroll, Bank Reconciliations.
  • Experienced in the use of Sage Accounts & Payroll and MS Excel.
  • Available to commence in September 2021 at the latest.
  • Provide references from previous employers.
