About the Role Are you meticulous, organised, and confident handling client money within a busy legal finance environment?

We’re looking to build a new team of Accounts Administrators to play a key role in managing client account transactions and maintaining regulations and compliance. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team, ensuring accuracy, control, and exceptional service across all areas of the department.

What You’ll Do – you’ll support the day-to-day operation of the firm’s client accounts, including:

  • Checking, banking, and posting all client, currency, and deposit receipts
  • Processing client and deposit payment requisitions accurately and promptly
  • Managing inter-ledger transfers (Client to Bill, Client to Disbursement, etc.)
  • Reconciling daily bank movements and investigating unidentified receipts
  • Assisting with opening and closing client, joint, and escrow bank accounts
  • Ensuring full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations
  • Supporting year-end audits and preparing client cash statements and reports
  • Handling ad-hoc queries from fee earners, partners, and external stakeholders

What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who:

  • Has experience in accounts administration ideally within a mid-sized corporate or professional services firm
  • Possesses a solid understanding regulations, rules and AML procedures
  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Has great communication skills and the confidence to build internal and external relationships
  • Is proficient in Excel and financial systems (ideally ERP like SAP, MS Dynamics or Oracle)
  • Works well under pressure and can manage deadlines effectively
