We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the Belfast-based Finance Team. The successful candidate will be someone who is highly motivated and has previous experience with in an accounts or finance team.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:

  • Manage all accounts payable queries for various group entities
  • Assist with the administration tasks within the Accounts Payable Team
  • Liaise with various teams to resolve supplier queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Responsible for Expenses & Receipts
  • Processing supplier invoices and issue for approval
  • Dealing with urgent payments in a timely manner
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Update Accounts Payable process documents and manuals as required
  • To carry out any ad hoc duties / or projects when required

Essential & Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in an accounts or financial administration role.
  • Proven experience in MS Excel and other MS packages (Word / PowerPoint etc).
  • Qualification (full or partial) with IATI is desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable team is desirable.
  • Experience with SAP is desirable.
