As a Team Lead in the Accounts Payable department, you will ensure timely and accurate workload management and excellent customer service. This company is about to embark on an exciting period of growth so we’re looking for a candidate who is passionate about both people and processes!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the team.
- Set challenging goals and objectives at team and individual level.
- Monitor and report on KPIs and provide insights to senior management.
- Ensure clear people development and succession plan for the team.
- Hold regular one-to-ones with team members and provide coaching
- Lead the implementation of process changes and monitor their effectiveness.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and highlight solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advise on escalations and provide advice and guidance to team as necessary.
Experience & Skills:
We are looking for someone with min. one years’ experience in a supervisory, team lead or management role, with excellent attention to detail, proven leadership skills and a proactive attitude.
- Experience in a finance role, preferably Accounts Payable
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Ability to understand and identify solutions to technical issues.
- Excellent communicator and able to deliver difficult messages sensitively and resolve conflict.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
- Experience of working with stakeholders across differing countries and cultures is advantageous.
You will have an established record of encouraging and fostering a collaborative working environment. Also, you should demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times and flexible working approach.
