AML/ KYC Manager

We are delighted to be recruiting for a AML/ KYC Manager on behalf of one of the world’s largest inter dealer brokers. Role:

The Manager will be responsible for the management and oversight of all Business As Usual (BAU) activities for the team across all business areas for EMEA, including:

  • All client lifecycle events including initial Client On-Boarding.
  • Client Off-Boarding.
  • Ongoing sanctions screening monitoring.
  • Ensuring that all clients are onboarded appropriately, undertaking the relevant KYC/AML checks, and due diligence.
  • Ensuring that we act, in relation to any negative media alerts.
  • Ensuring that we complete any remediation necessary, in relation to policy changes.
  • Ensuring that we prepare, distribute and store any necessary client documentation.
  • Ensuring that all client data is managed appropriately, based upon agreed governance structure, and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
  • 2 years+ people management experience.
  • Strong, demonstrable experience of effectively managing a KYC/AML team or similar across the client lifecycle.
  • Sound knowledge of the financial markets and financial regulation affecting client lifecycle management including MiFID II.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing the employee lifecycle i.e. recruitment selection, one to one’s, goal-setting, performance mgmt. and performance appraisal.
  • Experience of communicating with and managing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of leading a team to provide a service to tight SLAs.
  • Experience of designing, executing and interpreting MI to demonstrate team success and implement process improvements.
  • Strong proven experience in the management of a multi-functional team that operates under pressure.
  • Experienced in building and establishing teams, and through mentoring, empower them to achieve, and deliver against evolving goals.
