Assistant Accountant

Based in Belfast, you could join this established family-run NI business as an Assistant Accountant, further developing your experience within management accounting and financial analysis & reporting. 

On offer is a competitive salary (£28K – £34K), annual bonus, 5% pension contribution, heath cash plan, training & development, and hybrid working.

As a key member of the accounting team, you would be responsible for:

• Produce management accounts & relevant reporting
• Prepare and process payroll monthly
• Cashflow & forecasting
• BS & intercompany reconciliations
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Audit preparation 
• Assist with AP duties including to prepare and run monthly BACS payments
• Assist with financial analysis to identify trends or discrepancies, provide reporting to assist with business decision making
