They have experienced major growth and have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts specialist to join their team, the company are offering the succesful candidate an opportunity to gain extensive business and commercial exposure and would love to bring a dynamic, adaptable individual to join their warm and friendly team, could this be you??

In your new role you will be covering some of the following duties:

• NI finance month end processes
• Budgeting for NI – Feeding in to UK Finance
• Internal budgets to be established and monitored on a monthly basis with departmental managers
• Forecasting in line with MUK requirements
• Finance process improvements and updates
• Monthly Margin Rec.
• Business analysis
• Monitoring Excess Stock for possible financial impact and making recommendations
• Commercial input and pricing for tenders and new business
• Driving change in our financial systems and processes, Black Mountain and Oracle
• System development within Black Mountain(in house developed system)
• Master Data implementation
• AR
• Client Reclaims – In need of update

Ideally you are a Part Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience and meet most of the below criteria:

• Minimum of 3 years finance experience within a busy office environment including AP monthly processes, Credit Control and production of management accounts.
• Experience in producing monthly management accounts to trial balance.
• Experience in reconciliation of balance sheet and control accounts.
• Experience in producing and posting month end journals.
• Minimum 3 ‘A’ Levels, grades A – E, or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 ‘GCSE’s, grades A – C, including Maths & English
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make logical decisions
• Competent MS Excel skills
