Assistant Accountant/Accounting Technician-Portadown/Moira

Abacus Careers are delighted to be working with a highly successful company,the role can be based in Portadown or Moira, we are seeking to hear from Assistant Accountants/Accounting Technicians/Trainee Accountants.

Responsibilities with include:

• Annual budgets, forecasting and variance analysis
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
• Customs and TSS declaration
• Expense approvals
• Intercompany Reconciliations
• P&L analysis
• Preparation and posting of journals
• Support internal audits.
• Support the team with preparation of weekly and monthly accounts
• VAT and intrasat preparation

The successful candidate will have/be:

• Part Qualified, Accounts Technician, Trainee Accountant or have a minimum of 3 years experience in a busy finance environment
• Knowledge of Navision and Coins
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages in particular MS Excel
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and be able to work to strict deadlines.
