Before the onset of the pandemic the Abacus team was successful in introducing a number of Chartered and Certified accountants, with varied post-qualification experience, to our client a ‘Big 4’ firm for these 100% Work From Home (WFH) job opportunities. Then WFH was very new and relatively unheard of in the audit area. Now however, the ability to complete client assignments via this firm, is unaffected by the fact you are in Derry, Omagh, Enniskillen, Coleraine or Newry. At this time we enter on to the local market to recruit a further team of Managers to support the growth of this service line.
Working as part of a fully remote team of professionals (that has colleagues based right across Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales) you will be responsible for delivering audit assignments just as if you were on a client premises. Clients for this service are typically medium to large sized entities, they have turnover in excess of £50M p.a. with multiple sites across the world, varied legal jurisdictions and often specific reporting regulations to adhere to. These are not N.Ireland based businesses.
In order to be considered for these positions you need to possess:
- Qualification as a Chartered or Certified Accountant through a recognised accountancy practice.
- Explicit medium to large size company audit experience.
- Accountants with 1 years PQE or more will be considered for Assistant Manager level.
- Accountants with 3 years PQE or more plus holding the role of Assistant Manager will be considered for Manager level.
- Accountants with 5 years PQE or more plus holding the role of Manager will be consider for Senior Manager level.
Through a tried and tested formula that is technologically enabled with methods of work streamlined, you can be effective and successful in this role if you possess the skills, discipline and motivation required.
