Cash Allocation Supervisor – Belfast

We’re looking for a talented Client Account Supervisor to join our Belfast office and lead our Client Account team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a critical function, drive process improvements, and play a key role in shaping financial operations across the business.

What You’ll Do 
– Lead and mentor the Cash Accounting team
– Oversee workloads, performance reviews, recruitment, and training
– Drive process improvements and enhance control environments
– Manage client account operations, including:

• Checking, banking, and posting client/currency/deposit receipts
• Processing payment requisitions and inter-ledger transfers
• Performing daily bank reconciliations
• Managing residual balances and liaising with partners
  – Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and AML procedures
  – Support audits (year-end and SRA) and collaborate with international colleagues
  – Work closely with the Financial Systems Team on ERP enhancements (Microsoft Dynamics)

What We’re Looking For 
– Strong line management experience and leadership skills
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
– Proven experience in process improvement and change management
– Deep understanding of control environments, Solicitors Accounts Rules, and AML procedures
– Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise effectively
– Previous experience in a legal firm is an advantage
