Duties:

The Financial Risk Management Client Lifecycle Manager will be responsible for the management and oversight of all departmental activity, including:

  • The full range of credit risk related client lifecycle tasks including initial onboarding, periodic review and ongoing monitoring. 
  • The full range of credit risk limit related administrative tasks in relation to the Groups limit setting process in its matched principal and exchange traded front office and risk systems. 
  • Ensuring the operation of a globally servicing department of credit analysts and administration staff which is available in both EMEA and AMER trading hours to provide immediate support as required. 
  • Oversee the delivery of credit risk related on-boarding of all new clients, ensuring that the team undertake the appropriate assessment and rating process as detailed in the Group Credit Risk Management Policy.  Ensure that all credit assessments and approvals are completed with the appropriate level of due diligence, acting as the primary source of assurance for the department’s assessment and rating process.

Requirements:

  • SME knowledge as above preferable but would look at a candidate from a similar role (KYC/AML).
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
  • Experience of effectively managing a credit/financial risk related team or similar across the client lifecycle.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing the employee lifecycle i.e., recruitment, selection, goal setting, performance mgmt. and performance appraisal.
  • Experience of communicating with and managing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of leading a team to provide a service to tight SLAs.
  • Experience of designing, executing and interpreting MI to demonstrate team success and implement process improvements.
  • Strong proven experience in the management of a multi-functional team that operates under pressure.
