The Role:

On a day to day basis you will be actively managing your global team, focusing on meeting contractual obligations and promptly resolving client issues which are escalated to you (with the support of your wider teams where required). Proactively managing service delivery risk through review of issue & risk logs, and escalation routes. Your role as the owner of these engagements is to be the strategic lead driving excellent client service.

You will provide innovative solutions and market insights to client business issues. Providing guidance and support to peers, colleagues and clients on contractual issues, whilst managing complex local fee and scope negotiations. Your focus will be on driving revenue on your engagements, bringing innovation and best practice to the client to support you with this.

Your day will be structured around internal client catch ups, conference calls and Skype meetings – you will be driving the agenda and making sure your team are clear on what they will be working on that day / week, with your key focus on what needs to be prepared for upcoming client meetings. You will be a point of escalation for your team when they cannot resolve complex issues, and you will own the client relationship.

As part of Senior management, you will lead the coaching and development of more junior members of your team, and also be involved in career guidance for the wider team. To strengthen the team, we all take on an internal support role based on your area of expertise or preference. You will be responsible for leading and driving these within our team and making sure we all working as well as we possibly can together.

The Person:

  • Strong client relationship management experience
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent preferred but not essential
  • Proven work record in a similar environment
  • Team management experience essential
  • Proven track record of building a team
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbally
  • Excellent MS Excel and word capability
  • Proficient multi-tasking ability
  • Be a strong team player with the ability to add value to the current team
  • Capability to manage teams across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong presentation and marketing skills and experience in developing and delivering major proposals to clients and targets
