Client:

• Abacus Group are working with a UK wide Insurance Broker who are looking to add a Commercial Insurance Sales Advisor for their Belfast office.  The role has come around due to accelerated growth and with exciting plans over the next few months of rolling out new platforms and bringing on new businesses you will be joining a firm with admirable vision to continue with their goals.

Salary/ Benefits:

Role:

• Providing commercial quotations to customers via telephone and online, e.g.: Property Owners, Public Liability, Commercial Combined.
• Always ensure a high level of accuracy as you will be responsible for making mid-term adjustments to policies, such as change of address, additional properties or personal details.
• Maintain and retain existing business.
• Comfortable with portal based and Non-EDI policies.
• Outbounding leads from multiple sources.
• Building relationships with new customers, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and generating other business opportunities.
• Maximising sales, selling optional extras and setting up finance agreements.
• Adhering to company processes and procedures, ensuring all activities are FCA compliant and meet the principles of TCF.
• Admin tasks including sending out policy documents and processing renewal invitations.
• Liaising with our insurers and other partners to resolve queries and win sales.
• Working towards personal, team and business performance and quality targets.
• Acting under own initiative to solve problems and develop the business.
• Other tasks as required by the company.

Requirements:

• You will need to have at least 1-2 years prior experience working within a commercial insurance environment.
• 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above (including Maths & English);
• Cert CII qualified preferred but not essential.
