My client is seeking a talented Commercial Underwriter to join their dynamic team.

 

As a key player, you’ll analyse risks, determine policy terms, and contribute to the company’s overall business objectives.

 

What You’ll Do:

Analyse insurance proposals and assess risk factors.

Determine policy terms and calculate premiums based on actuarial and statistical data.

Identify and write profitable business to achieve company objectives.

Administer specialist delegated motor trade products.

Retain and grow the existing broker base.

Stay up-to-date with technical and regulatory matters to make informed decisions.

 

What You’ll Bring:

5 GCSEs with grade C or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent).

Substantial insurance industry experience in broking or underwriting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and data analysis.

Progression towards Cert CII or Dip CII (desirable).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
