Role:

• To establish, monitoring and maintain adequate, appropriate and effective internal systems and controls to ensure the company meets its regulatory and industry requirements;
• To establish and maintain an internal risk management framework to evaluate, monitor, mitigate and report on risks within the company;
• To research, keep up to date with, and report on regulatory developments affecting the company
• To act as a key point of contact for the business in order to provide advice and guidance on regulatory matters;
• To report on regulatory matters and produce regular management information for the Board(s) and Senior Managers of the company;
• To oversee the effective day-to-day operation of the Group Compliance Function as a 2nd line function in discharging it’s agreed objectives, supporting and advising the regulated businesses within the company, operation of the compliance monitoring schedule and providing assurance to the Board(s) and Senior Managers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a compliance and/or governance role.
• Experience of managing a compliance function within insurance
• 2 Years relevant experience within a financial services firm.
• Insurance underwriting experience looking to move into a compliance function.
