Abacus Careers is currently working on behalf of a widely recognised legal employer who is seeking to recruit a experienced Solicitor to join their impressive Commercial team.

Recognised as one of the leading and ‘go-to’ law firms in Northern Ireland for commercial and technology work, this well-regarded firm is seeking to boost their team with the addition of another solicitor. 

Like most firms, there’s no such thing as a typical day. The collaborative nature of how this department works together means that solicitors can ‘play to their strengths’ if they have a particular interest or skill set. Typically, the type of work you can expect to handle includes Data Privacy, GDPR, IP & Trademark, the full range of agreements/T&C’s and all on behalf of NI largest and most innovative clients

Ideally, you’ll offer:

• Ideally at least 2 year’s PQE – (although the firm can be flexible and no ‘upper limit’).
• Experience in handling a range of commercial contracts to include drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a variety of complex contracts such as licensing agreements, content agreements, software development contracts, SaaS agreements, SLA agreements, e-commerce agreements, mobile content licensing agreements and/or mobile and gaming devices licensing agreements.
• A high level of professionalism and strong commercial and business acumen
