- Hours of work are Wednesday, Thursday and half-day Friday (1pm finish)
Credit Controller Responsibilities:
To work as part of the team and support the Credit Control Manager in providing a professional credit control service to the business whilst providing accurate, timely and relevant information.
- Implement the company policy on credit control
- Responsible for debtor’s ledger, ensuring customers adhere to the agreed payment terms
- Provide support to ensure all payments are allocated accurately and on time
- Update daily reports and ensure distribution to correct parties
- Production of weekly reports for management on Overdue Balances and Bad Debt Provision
- Preparing and posting of Monthly Statements.
- Managing the cash on delivery process
- Creating direct debit files and submission to bank
- Strict adherence to cross border procedures (HM Customs and Excise)
- Proper credit check to be made on all new customers and obtain credit reports on customers as required.
- Liaising with internal teams and customers providing excellent service level
- Recording and Filing of New Accounts
- Assist with annual review on existing clients and credit limits
Essential Criteria:
- 2+ years’ experience in Credit Control or AR
- Strong administration skills
- Highly organized & excellent time management skills
- Customer focused attitude
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
