The role:

Abacus Careers are pleased to be recruiting for a on behalf of a leading Financial Services firm in their Belfast office. Our client is one of the most ambitious providers on the Northern Ireland market and have a track record of investing in keen professionals with a goal of advancing their career within the industry.

What you will do:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for customer/ client queries ensuring a prompt, efficient and reliable service
  • Manage and maintain a diary system that will ensure customer call-backs are delivered within the correct timescales.
  • Create and book appointments for the clients to the Customer Advisors.

As the initial contact most queries will be inbound with a pro-active approach taken with outbound calling to follow up with client requests. It will be your priority to deliver a “first class” customer experience through your passion and enthusiasm for products on offer and to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a Banking or Financial Services environment
  • Min 5 GCSE’s (Including Maths & English) Grade C or above
  • Competent computer usage, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Great listening skills with the ability to deal with vulnerable customers.

You will be customer and quality focused whilst being able to work well under pressure and effectively maintain accuracy in all that you do – especially in the processing of information. You should possess good time-management skills and demonstrate the ability to be flexible and prioritise your workload daily. This will require you to use your own initiative while also working as part of a wider team to consistently provide a first-class service to all customers’.
