Our client are keen to speak to individuals with Cloud Data Engineering experience who have a passion for leading teams and mentoring junior colleagues. This role gives the opportunity to work from any UK office (outside of London) on a hybrid basis.

What will you be doing?

• Leading a team of Data Engineers
• Functioning as an SME and be the go-to person for the team and wider colleagues
• Leading the charge on data engineering projects
• Communicating complex solutions to business teams and clients
• Defining key data requirements with stakeholders

The Essentials:

• 3-4 years of experience in cloud data engineering – leading, designing and implementing cloud data strategies
• Experience with some of the following: Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure IAM, Azure Devops, Python, Spark, PySpark, Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience with some of the following: SQL, version control systems, data orchestration tools, various data storage types, databases and integration tools

What could help you stand out?

• Experience in AWS or GCP
