Data Privacy Lawyer

We are working with a leading law firm based in Belfast, and they are currently seeking an experienced Data Privacy lawyer to join the team. As a Data Privacy lawyer with 5+ years PQE, you will play a key role in helping their clients navigate the complex and ever-changing data protection landscape. Forming part of a wider data privacy team globally, you will be working with a broad range of clients including Fortune 250 companies.  

Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on data protection laws and regulations
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and procedures related to data privacy
• Conducting data protection impact assessments
• Responding to data breaches and privacy violations
• Representing clients in data protection disputes

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE in data privacy law
• Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR and DPA 2018
• Experience advising clients on data protection issues
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
