CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Candidates should have at least 4-5 years strong demonstrable experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, in particular in the following areas:

  • Reviewing and drafting employment contracts and policies.
  • Advising in relation to general HR queries, particularly issues such as:
  • Absence management
  • Performance management
  • Disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Redundancy advice
  • Bullying and harassment
  • Assisting in handling claims before the Workplace Relations Commission and the Civil Courts.
  • Assisting with due diligence in corporate transactions.
  • Presenting and delivering client facing employment law workshops.
  • Representing MHC at various industry and employment events and conferences.
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills and be enthusiastic about building on their career as an employment lawyer in an ambitious and dynamic firm.
