The Role

As the examinations administrator you will join a leading organisation who have a strong passion in the delivery of educational programmes, the encouragement of lifelong learning a, who are expects in their field of education and who provide many award-winning support services.

The examinations administrator will work as part of a team assisting with student registrations and processing examination results and certificates for all examination held within the organisation.

You will be responsible for undertaking the following duties,

  • Maintenance of on-line examination entries
  • Produce examination timetable and publish on relevant noticeboards/ intranet
  • Record and itemise money received ensuring all financial transactions are carried out in line with set policies.
  • Process examination refunds in line with internal policies.
  • Prepare weekly lodgements
  • Raise and check invoices for examination fees where necessary

  • Process special examination arrangements/considerations
  • Organise the arrangement of examination invigilation and room allocation following JCQ regulations.
  • Prepare examination timetable and schedule for students and invigilators and resolve any clashes.
  • Participate in the enrolment cover rota as appropriate.
  • Be required to undertake work outside normal working hours on occasions.
  • Provide reports, written and oral, as required.
  • Ensure that all documentation and authorisation procedures are adhered to.

Essential Criteria

  • A-level qualification in Business studies/ Administration or a similar subject area
  • Minimum of grade C in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years administrative experience in the last 5 years, working within a busy office environment
  • Solid working knowledge of all Microsoft office programs
  • Must hold Valid UK driving Licences and use of own car


  • Weekly pay between £10-12 per hour
