About the Role.

Although you will be joining an existing department and absorbing a certain level of work, you will also have a keen interest in helping to grow the department, therefore a willingness to get involved in marketing initiatives and support business development activity will be required.

The experience you will offer is expected to include:

• Previous experience of working within an Employment department of a large firm, boutique/niche firm or a busy practice where employment featured predominantly.
• Experience in dealing with contentious and non-contentious matters on behalf of large commercial clients.
• Experience of representing clients at tribunal
• Ability to instigate and foster excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to include company directors, head of departments and external counsel.
• An ability to demonstrate a high level of business acumen
• Team management experience would also be an advantage.
