Our client is a local business with a national reputation. This is a new role to the business as they develop their operation throughout the Province. Forming part of a successful team, you need to bring drive and determination to increase revenue and the client base.

Responsibilities will include:

• Develop a strategy with targets to win new business and up sell to existing clients highlighting the breath/depth of the business offering.
• Meet and liaise with clients to discuss and identify their requirements in relation to events, conferences, weddings etc
• Work with internal stakeholders to create a plan to develop new opportunities and increase events
• Responsible for presenting ideas to management team
• Liaise with, and act as the link between, external suppliers and the team by maintaining regular contact
• Handle budgets and manage costs.
• Responsible for writing and producing reports on activities
• Producing content and pitching for business
• Any other duties which role may include.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience in business-to-business sales
• Previous experience in activating events
• Proven track record of winning new business
• Ability to win new business as well as maintain and develop existing accounts
• Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
• Good commercial awareness, be highly motivated and customer focused with a desire to exceed personal and company goals
• Full driving licence and access to a car
