We are seeking to hear from Assistant Accountants/Finance Analysts/PQ Accountants ideally working towards their professional accountancy qualifications.

In your new role you will:

• Provide financial support to the departments within scope; build relationships with key stakeholders, prepare monthly and quarterly reporting, assist with general accounting queries
• Support the financial reporting within the IT projects portfolio; working closely with the Project Management Team, assisting with monthly forecasts & business cases, preparing the reporting pack for senior leadership
• Preparation of prepayment and accrual schedules for the month end close for those departments in scope
• Preparation of fee earning reporting and support on any ad hoc reporting requirements within this area
• Support the Finance Manager building a bottom up annual budget for the departments supported, ensuring timely collection of information from the business and that this is captured accurately in the forecasting system
• Ensure the correct allocation of complex supplier charges in line with forecasts, ensuring this is completed in a timely manner
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support in the timely documentation of processes and internal controls, following best practice and ensuring they are continually improved
• Providing general support and advice within the functional area of responsibility

What you will need:

• Experience in an accounting role within a commercial or industry setting
• Actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills & computer literacy
