Who we are looking for:
- Self-motivated, highly organised and approachable individual
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential in building strong relationships
- Ability to review and analyse problems and processes, and recommend improved outcomes
- Qualified, QBE or part qualified accountant (or eligible for exemptions with ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft, especially Excel
- Commercial finance experience (desirable)
- Process improvement & change implementation (desirable)
The Role:
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the Finance Team in the development and maintenance of financial models, forecasting, budgeting and bank compliance, enabling well-informed strategic decisions within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide insights by developing and maintaining financial models.
- Perform sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Make recommendations regarding business improvement and profitability enhancement.
- Driving efficiencies through the identification and implementation of process & system changes which deliver cost benefits to the business.
- Act as a business partner, building relationships to effectively collate information and accurately process, interpret and challenge data received from same during the annual budget cycle.
- Continuous improvement mindset with regards to financial modelling processes, automation and developing best practice
- Participate in special projects as required in line with duties.
