As a Team Lead in the Working Capital team, you will ensure the timely and accurate workload management and excellent customer service within the finance revenue department.

The Working Capital Team Lead is responsible for managing a team that is focused on optimizing working capital through revenue processes such as billing and accounts receivable management. The role requires the ability to analyse data, communicate effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve working capital metrics and reduce risk. The ideal candidate has experience in managing a team, is detail-oriented, and ideally has some experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day running of a small team, assisting the manager to deliver training and manage change with current processes.
  • Lead the implementation of process changes and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Work with Manager to set challenging team goals and objectives and turn into individual objectives.
  • Monitor and report on working capital metrics and provide insights to senior management.
  • Ensure clear people development and succession plan for the team.
  • Hold regular one-to-ones with team members and provide coaching
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to working capital management.
  • Advise on escalations and provide advice and guidance to team as necessary.
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues as appropriate to senior manager.

As a leader, you should be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver high quality client service through the building of strong trusted advisor relationships with customers and internal senior management. You will have a proven record of encouraging and fostering a collaborative working environment. Also, you should be demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times and flexible working approach.

Experience & Skills:

We are looking for someone with min. two years’ experience in a supervisory or team lead role, with excellent attention to detail, proven leadership skills and a proactive attitude.

  • Experience & awareness of working with customers across differing countries and cultures.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge and understand and identify solutions to technical issues.
  • The ability to create and establish credibility with the team very quickly.
  • Agile communicator and able to deliver difficult messages sensitively and resolve conflict.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills with an aptitude  to understand new concepts quickly.
  • Ability to manage impact of change within the team.

  • Working Model: Hybrid Optional (3 days in the office per week & 2 days WFH)
  • Regular Working Pattern: Monday – Friday
  • Contract: Fixed Term Contract, min. 14 months
