Working within a global firm, leading advancements in learning through innovative services and technology, you will become a key member of the Finance Services team who are responsible for month-end close activities, group reporting, audit, balance sheet and P&L control.

What are the key responsibilities?
- Production of monthly and annual results for various teams
- Review of all daily, weekly and monthly reporting to ensure that reports are accurate and relevant
- Review and approve journals ensuring appropriate back up and are correctly coded
- Prepare production of reports and analysis as requested to support decision-making
- Have significant interaction with various stakeholders, both internal and external, managing relationships to deliver stakeholder satisfaction
- Complete statutory financial statements at half year and year end
- Complete compliance reporting and assist with SOX compliance
- Assist with process reviews and related reporting
What do you need to be successful?
- Part qualified accountant with recognised professional body (e.g., ACCA or CIMA), or have exemptions through Accountancy/Finance degree
- Understanding of financial control processes and functions
- Ability to communicate with both finance and non-finance professionals effectively
- Ability to maintain a strong focus on results and outcomes and prioritise work effectively
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (v-lookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables, macros etc.)
- Experience in a service delivery environment and strong stakeholder management would be advantageous
