My client is currently seeking a Financial Services Administrator to join their team in Belfast.

Responsibilities:

As a Financial Services Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team and ensuring the smooth operation of our client portfolio management and data processing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing client databases using our back-office system, Intelligent Office (I.O).
  • Preparing and producing accurate quotations, valuations, brochures, and application forms.
  • Efficiently processing new business applications and providing ongoing service to existing clients.
  • Engaging with investment companies, insurance companies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Undertaking general office administration tasks, including data analysis in Excel, database updating, and file scanning.
  • Staying updated on changes in legislation and processes that may impact your role, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrating problem-solving skills by resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Working towards deadlines and effectively prioritizing workloads.
  • Maintaining strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication with clients.
  • Building rapport and empathizing with clients to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably within an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) firm.
  • Knowledge of pensions and investments, allowing you to navigate and provide valuable support in these areas.
  • Experience in processing business with providers and Investment Platforms, ensuring efficient workflow management.
  • Proficiency in using Intelligent Office and FE Analytics, enabling you to leverage technology for improved efficiency.
