Abacus Temporary staffing is delighted to be working with our client, a local not for profit organisation who have been in existence within our local community for over 20 years as they seek to appoint an experienced Grants Officer to join their team.
As the Grants Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial assistance programmes are administered in a way that meets the needs of the organisation and safeguards all corporate compliance. This role is part-time 3 days per week.
Working as part of a small team you will assess grant applications and make recommendations of funding in line with the criteria outlined. You will process payments and inform of recommendations to funding awards.
This role requires the applicant to have exceptional organisational and administrative skills as there is a great emphasis placed on record keeping in relation to grant applications.
