The Abacus Group is currently assisting our fast growing financial services client with the recruitment of a HR Administrator to join their team in Belfast.

The business is currently experiencing a period of growth, and this role provides administrative support to the business and reports to the Office Manager. This is a broad role encompassing a wide variety of administration duties, and the successful candidate must be well organised and able to prioritise and multi-task. They will need to enjoy working in a fast moving and sometimes pressurised environment, often working on ad-hoc exceptional issues against significant time pressures.

The Role:

  • You will take responsibility for the entire recruitment process, HR administration including the joiner process and leaver process
  • You will take responsibility of University relationships and recruitment
  • You will set up and deliver Training needs to all staff
  • You will take responsibility of all general office admin including stationery, rota’s, confidential waste, events preparation, marketing materials, customer and supplier contracts
  • You will assist the finance manager with bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and purchase invoice maintenance
  • Support the HR requirements within our Chennai office
  • Support and assist with all our committees
  • Ensure processes are conducted to continuously high standards and identify where efficiencies and improvements in processes can be made

The Person:

  • 3+ years relevant HR experience
  • Experience of taking ownership of your departments resources
  • A good understanding of the HR environment and a good grasp of the wider office environment
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities, with a strong understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction and continuous excellent service level delivery
