An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Officer to join our successful and established client immediately.

We’re looking for a keenly organised individual with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar generalist HR Officer role, who is passionate about providing employees with an engaging and positive work experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end to end Employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding and training through to career progression, development and employee relation issues. They will also provide Business Administrative assistance to the Managing Director and Management team, as well as minuting key meetings and tracking business project deadlines.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role has significant responsibility and offers candidates the opportunity to make a direct impact on the day to day performance of the company. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent application of all policies, procedures and practices of our employee relations/HR Department
  • Hands on management of the recruitment and selection process including participating in interviews and negotiating offers.
  • Provide a key role within all Employee Relation and Disciplinary matters.
  • Work closely to support managers on all employee issues.
  • Maintain internal databases, spreadsheets, monthly management reports and equality reporting.
  • Maintain all personnel files
  • Organise and facilitate Departmental Team Meetings
  • Providing, as required, administrative support to the MD to delivery on key business strategies.
  • Provide various reports & business information to the Managing Director
  • Minute taking and follow-up notes for Monthly Management and Team Meetings
  • Assisting with project planning & coordination.

Essential criteria:

  • Fully qualified CIPD level 5 or equivalent third level qualification
  • Strong relevant HR experience within a fast moving environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience overseeing performance management and employee engagement.
  • Experience of providing support to managers on employee relations
  • Sound working knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities with strong administrative coordination
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask with great follow-up skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • The ability to act with confidentiality and discretion where needed
