Inhouse Barrister

Ideally, the role will suit Barristers with 1-3 years’ experience who is now keen to progress and develop their commercial experience in a new career path. While you will be able to transfer some of your legal knowledge and experience, this role will suit a professional who is an excellent communicator, financially driven to achieve sales and performance targets; and enjoys providing solutions for, and working with, clients. While support is always available, the right person(s) will be confident to work with autonomy.

The business continues to grow substantially and will suit individuals with a start-up mentality and entrepreneurial mindset, who are full of ideas and can identify pockets of opportunity to generate new revenue streams.

A typical week will involve responding to inbound lead enquiries, client engagement and meetings and report writing. A major part of the role is to build rapport with new and existing clients, enhance your revenue stream and ensure the delivery of highly professional customer service and compliance advice, leading to annual client retention.

You will support clients across multiple business sectors and industries. You will advise and support clients on areas of ESG, CSR, data privacy, cyber security, equality, diversity and other compliance and governance issues. You will develop and bespoke solutions to de-risk clients and help them to improve both operationally and strategically. You will also be interacting with senior management and leadership levels within your client base.
