Legal Counsel – In House Solicitor

Abacus are currently representing an international employer as they seek to hire an additional Lawyer to their in-house legal team.  Based in Belfast, this is an exciting chance to join a market leading manufacturing company.

The role will be varied to say the least, as the saying goes, there’s no typical day – that said, you can expect to handle a range of enquires related to the safe-guarding of the business to include:

• Contract review and negotiation across all business contracts
• Advice on bid/tenders and procurement matters
• Supporting other departments with service and supply contracts matters

Ideally, this role would suit someone with 5 Years+ PQE, someone who feels ready to move into a role that can offer autonomy (but with support!), someone who enjoys the wider, commercial approach to providing legal advice and someone who is hard working but wants to avail of ‘real’ work / life balance.
