Interim IT Director – 6 month FTC

Abacus are delighted to be working with a Northern Ireland based manufacturer who require an Interim IT Director for an immediate start. The IT Director is responsible for the strategic development and delivery of the IT strategy, together with ensuring the overall performance of the IT Team.

They will act as a strong figurehead for the organisation; with ability to develop and maintain long term customer relationships with key stakeholders.  Ensuring a first-class customer service to over stakeholders whilst actively promoting new and innovative technologies to ensure the company is at the forefront of the market.

:

• Maintain group systems, policies, and procedures for roll out across multiple sites
• Operational and strategic management of Global systems inclusive, but not exhaustive of infrastructure, network, servers, communications and cloud services
• Manage all critical business services and applications 
• Preparing departmental budget and responsibility for ensuring that it delivers
• Focus on automation of business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensuring system stability and security
• Ownership of KPIs for IT Department
