IT Application Support Analyst

One of the largest veterinary pharmaceutical companies is looking for an IT Application Support Analyst to join the global team. With a recent investment to grow and expand their IT department, not only are they one of the largest veterinary pharmaceutical companies but they are also one of the top companies in Northern Ireland.

What you’ll do

• Support a wide portfolio of applications across Finance, Production, Laboratory and the Core Corporate IT Services Platform.
• Support the implementation and delivery of new IT applications and minor changes / enhancements to existing IT systems in a specific systems development domain
• Support existing Microsoft CRM, SharePoint, Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server systems and applications
• Support for data migration, data integration and data validation
• Provide IT application support through effective incident, service request, problem and change management to end-users at agreed service levels.
• Maintain an effective IT operations environment by carrying out planned and remedial work as needed to maintain the defined service levels.

What you need

• BSC in Computer Science, Information Technology or related subject(s) and at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience of supporting Microsoft platforms and applications
• Good Knowledge of MS-Access, MS-Sharepoint, MS-SQL, Power BI (or comparable BI or Reporting Tools)
• Experience working with third party IT service providers.
• Demonstrates excellent inter-personal skills and confidence dealing with end-users.

Desirable

• Experience of developing and supporting solutions using MS-SharePoint, MS-SQL, MS-Access / Visual Basic – OR equivalent development technologies such MS.Net / Visual Studio, MS Power Platform;
• Knowledge of Visual Studio, MS.Net, Microsoft Power Platform Technologies, Microsoft Server Platforms, Active Directory;
• Experience working in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical or regulated environment;
• Experience working with third party IT service providers;
• Proven ability to work unsupervised individually and as a member of a team to agreed service levels;
• Knowledge of CRM, SCM, ERP, MES or LIMS systems
