IT Infrastructure Manager

Abacus are working exclusively with a global Law Firm, who are looking for an IT Infrastructure Services Manager to manage the IT Infrastructure Services team and to ensure technical operations are managed effectively. Ensuring all services and systems are resilient, secure and always available to colleagues with maximum availability.

This role reports directly to the Head of IT Operations, has direct reports and will also need to work closely with other technical and project teams. Ideally you will have managed a team size of 5-10 and still be technically hands-on.

Skills and experience:

• 5+ years managing IT Systems and IT Technicians, ideally managing remote teams across multiple locations
• Extensive experience in managing complex IT infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based networks.
• Extensive knowledge of core IT services such as servers and networking, backup and recovery, security solutions, applications and end user computing.
• Extensive practical experience of Windows Server, Azure AD, M365, Exchange, VMWare and vSphere/ESX.
• Experience of coaching and developing a team or other colleagues
• Proven experience of managing complex technical projects
