IT Infrastructure Support

IT Infrastructure Support needed to join a global organisation based out of Omagh. The ideal candidate will have experience in server, network & security operational systems support and will possess outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-going support to the Group IT Manager in co-ordination and review of IT Global operations, including strategic input & all relevant controls of the IT Department

• Project Lead for all technical infrastructure projects and provide relevant server & cloud solutions

• Technical and operational support for VMware Hosting platform across 8 worldwide sites

• Technical and operational support for Windows 2016/2019 Servers including Domain Controllers, 365, WSUS, SQL, CRM, Sharepoint

• Firewall & Site-to-site VPN set-up and configuration of Internet & wireless technologies and management of security controls across the LAN/WAN including AV

• Proactive development of the network and recommend improved automated failover solutions/upgrades where applicable

• Operational support for DR Backup, Replication & Recovery

• PC Support for Windows 10, Linux

• Technical & operational support of company hardware e.g. printers, scanners, PCs, Projectors, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Audio/Visual and Wi-Fi

 

Requirements:

• 3rd Level Degree or equivalent in relevant discipline

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role 

• VMware ESX 6.5 and SAN/NAS Management

• Cloud & Security Operations

• Proficiency and experience in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 & Outlook365

• TCP/IP Networks (DNS, DHCP, Subnets, GP, AD)

• Altaro Backup Solutions

• Cyber Security including Firewall/VPN

• MCSE/CCNA Certified
