IT Service Continuity Manager

A global broker with offices in 20+ countries require an IT Service Continuity Manager to join the team based in Belfast. There is requirement for a permanent member of staff to manage IT Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity process (BCP), along with the Permit to Operate process.

Snapshot Overview:

• Manage the execution of IT DR Testing, work with managers of all functions to ensure acceptance of the ITSCM process as the single point of coordination of all IT service continuity-related issues, regardless of the specific technology involved.

Knowledge:

• Proven track record of BCP testing 
• Detailed knowledge and experience across a wide range of the IT infrastructure and Application landscape
• Demonstrate a track record of working with similar sized programs (involving around 200 applications)
• Proven experience of working with IT Service Management Processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
• Proven Experience of Testing, validation and Acceptance into Service

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills and experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders
• Experience of working in a Global model, with cultural differences, time zones etc
• Able to apply an excellent level of attention to detail
• Ability to plan and coordinate significant Events 
• Experience of Project and/or Programme planning and implementation
• Personable with the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels
• Flexible approach to work – ability to adapt to a range of tasks
