We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Desk Analyst to join our clients IT team at their Craigavon location. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to users, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance of IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • First Point of Contact: Act as the initial point of contact for IT-related issues and service requests from employees worldwide.
  • Incident Resolution: Provide timely and effective technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving incidents to minimise downtime.
  • Service Request Management: Manage and prioritise service requests, ensuring timely resolution and high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of support processes, procedures, and issue resolutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • User Training: Assist in providing training to end-users on new technologies and applications.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor IT systems and generate reports on service desk performance metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services by providing insights and suggestions for process enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience 1-2 years IT experience as a Service Desk Analyst or in a similar role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support.
