The Opportunity: We’re on the lookout for a Junior IT Support Engineer to join our clients close-knit, motivated team. As a Junior IT Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering first-class IT solutions to our 400+ valued customers. This isn’t your average 9-to-5 job; every day is a new adventure.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert 1st line user support.
- Tackle hardware and software issues head-on.
- Install, maintain, and support Windows desktop, Office 365, Anti-Virus, and more.
- Efficiently manage calls and tickets, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct health checks for our clients.
- Embark on exciting visits to customer sites.
- Collaborate with your team on various tasks.
- Be part of both office and on-the-road action.
- Set up new hardware equipment like a pro.
- Showcase your remote access skills.
- Dive into data centre work, handling tasks like replacing hard drives and RAM.
About You:
- We’re seeking an IT whiz with a “can-do” attitude, ready to make a positive impact. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- A full, clean UK driving license.
- Access to a car and a willingness to travel.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
- Previous experience working in an IT environment.
- A solid grasp of computer, server components, networks, and infrastructure.
- An enthusiastic team player who’s ready to jump in when needed.
