Our client is a leading law firm providing legal services to employers worldwide.They are seeking to recruit a KM Content Specialist to join our dynamic Knowledge Management (KM) team. The KM department plays a vital role in ensuring our attorneys have access to the most current legal information, knowledge, and tools.

Job Description: The KM Content Specialist will create, curate, and maintain knowledge assets, develop and support knowledge sharing processes and tools, provide content management services, and assist in adherence to retention policies. The candidate will also assist in updating taxonomy, reporting analytics and metrics, recommending content updates based on data, supporting awareness and adoption activities for knowledge sharing projects, and delivering high-quality projects as assigned within the defined time and scope. The candidate should have a strong understanding and extensive use of knowledge management principles, methodologies, and technologies.

Responsibilities: – Develop, deploy, and support knowledge sharing processes and tools. – Provide content management services to create, review, and refresh content on internal and client-facing tools. – Assist with adherence to retention policies and manage taxonomy updates. – Support reporting of analytics and metrics and recommend content updates based on data. – Support awareness and adoption activities for knowledge sharing projects. – Deliver high-quality projects as assigned within the time and scope defined. – Demonstrate a good understanding of business capabilities to aid practitioners with KM initiatives. – Engage proactively with project stakeholders to keep them apprised of project status and activities. – Manage self and take ownership of assigned projects, updating internal documentation where required and communicating promptly. – Participate in discussions on process enhancements, workflow, and improved ways of working, contributing to and building a culture of continuous improvement within the department.

Requirements: – Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study required (Law, Business, Management, Information Systems, Library Science, and/or Communications). – 2-3 years of relevant work experience. – Strong understanding and extensive use of knowledge management principles, methodologies, and technologies. – Proficient in using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to structure and present data/information. – Strong verbal and written communication skills. – Project management skills. – Consistency and accountability, following through and building a track record of integrity by taking ownership. – Demonstrated ability to work with all levels, including leadership, in a globally diverse environment. – Clear attention to detail and comfortable with performing quality checks on all work output. – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. – Experience with project management terminology and concepts, including agile. – Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly. – Excellent customer service skills with an unwavering “can-do” attitude. – Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels. – Ability to self-start and take initiative daily. – Excellent client service skills gained in a busy deadline-driven environment. – Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and other Document Management Systems. – Experience with Smartsheet and Contentful a plus.
