03 December, 2021Our client of a leading law firm in Belfast, is seeking to recruit an experienced Learning and Development Co-ordinator to join a team of professionals. If you have excellent client service skills, a keen team player and excellent communicator, this may be the role for you.
Support the L&D Manager by in relation to the following populations and programmes:
- To include liaison with delegates and speakers, communication with stakeholders including external providers, preparation of evaluations and reports.
- Accelerate (Legal Analysts), ILDP (Joburg Legal Analysts), Aspire (Solicitors), Internship programme, people manager refresher programme.
- Liaise with relevant L&D contacts/ALT Managers about ALT nominations on the Business Skills Academy programmes.
- Deliver the L&D element of the new starter induction programme (including ILDP).
- Act as a producer for online development programmes and workshops as required.
- Assisting with L&D events including responsibility for the scheduling of events, coordination and logistics, uploading materials as necessary and maintaining training records on learning management system.
- Oversee costs and delivery agreements with key external suppliers.
- Organise regular update meetings with the L&D Manager/ Heads of Practice to review L&D priorities and needs.
- Act as the key contact for any development related queries arising from stakeholders. Liaise with the Practice Groups, HR, GC&R and L&D team to answer queries such as regulatory requirements, CPD/CC queries.
- Coordination support for the Learning Management System (LMS) such as attendance registers and evaluation forms, updating internal documents and [monitoring regulatory compliance], providing delegate feedback to speakers following training.
- Responsibility for answering day-to-day queries such as course scheduling, processing invoices etc.
- Maintain/update the ALT section of the L&D sharepoint site.
- Support the L&D budget process.
- Support the wider L&D team with other additional and ad-hoc duties and projects as require
Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
- Previous administration experience essential with a proven track record of organising events and meetings.
- Previous L&D experience highly desirable.
- Professional services experience would be preferable.
- Computer literacy – good working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Cornerstone learning management system.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; basic presentation/ training delivery experience is desirable.
- Excellent level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
