The Abacus Careers Legal team are current supporting a fast paced, growing technology company as they seek to recruit for an in-house, legal counsel role. Acting as the first point of contact for all legal matters, you will also be supported a team of C-level personnel within the business.

Recognised both locally and international as an award winning and fast-growing tech start-up, to include “Tech Rising Star”, this client is already making their mark within the manufacturing and technology sectors.

What should you have?

This will be a very varied role, but there’s advantages to that – they are happy to consider applications from a range of experience backgrounds. Typically, you can expect to handle a number of commercial and contract matters but the ultimate objective is ensuring that the organisation is meeting and exceeding expectations with regards to operational activity, commercial activity, risk and compliance requirements and adherence to all relevant regulatory issues.

Ideally you will be a qualified solicitor with at least 5 yrs PQE and be comfortable when drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.

Commercial drive, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial flare will also be welcome within this role.
