You will be joining an exciting company who strive to maximise, celebrate and make every day different.

As a Marketing and Events Assistant, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to build and maintain the company’s marketing strategies as well as gaining valuable experience and being able to develop your own skillset.

What you will do

    • Gathering information and generating/updating content for the website, including blogs, events, offers and business directory pages.
    • Being proactive and promoting events via the company’s platforms
    • Managing the social media accounts; creating dynamic and consistent content that increases audience interaction as well as driving traffic to the company website.
    • Creating and delivering social media campaigns for Belfast One from creation to delivery to measurement.
    • Manage Gift Card Social Media accounts, creating dynamic and consistent content that increases audience interaction as well as driving traffic to purchase a Gift Card
    • Working Flexibly, evenings and weekends to ensure content is relevant and updated on all platforms and ensuring the platforms are active at these times.
    • Assisting with the creation, production and distribution of business communications including print newsletters, business POS and e-campaigns.
    • Engagement with business stakeholders. This will involve building/maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Maintain and update business CRM system on a weekly basis.
    • Maintain and update Social Media Tracker on a weekly basis.

Build awareness of the Brand and ensure all marketing and communications campaigns adhere to brand guidelines and house style.

Build awareness of the Gift Card Brand and ensure all marketing and communications campaigns adhere to the brand guidelines and house style

Support the Marketing Manager to deliver the ‘Promotional’ aspects of the Business Plan.

Support the Marketing Manager to deliver the Calendar of Events.

Carry out research and formulate proposals for new project ideas.

Criteria

  • A minimum of 1 years experience working in marketing communications, including:

     

  • Proven experience of delivering successful marketing campaigns.
  • Relevant experience of marketing communications, including evidence of proof reading and attention to detail.
  • Experience of using and creating content in a business environment for social media platforms for e.g. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Experience of writing, generating ideas and updating content on websites.
  • The ability to use a wide range of IT packages – Including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Mailchimp, Canva etc.
  • A flexible approach to working hours to meet business needs including some evenings and weekends and public holidays as required
