Our client is a professional intermediary that plays an absolute pivotal role in the global financial services markets, covering FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, Energy & Commodities.  Our client is a leading provider of services to market participants, with execution via a range of regulated venues, covering a full spectrum of over-the-counter (OTC) asset classes. Matching buyers and sellers, they facilitate the development of liquidity and price discovery in these markets and provide insight and context to their clients. We operate a hybrid model where brokers provide business-critical intelligence to clients. It’s supplemented by proprietary screens for historical data, analytics and execution functionality.

Role:

The successful candidate will be part of a team primarily responsible for running & monitoring internal reconciliations, from a completeness, accuracy and timeliness perspective. As well as the timely and accurate production of a suite of daily, weekly and monthly MI reports containing multiple KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) and exception details from various sources across the organisation. The reporting is used by the operational teams and Senior Managers for governance and management of their operational teams in order to make strategic, tactical and operational decisions.

Requirements:

Essential criteria:

• Must be legally eligible to work in the UK
• Proficient Excel Skills
• Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
• Experience with Visualising MI
• Experience in Presentation of Data
• A broad base of operations knowledge and experience

Desirable criteria:

• Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
• Alteryx Designer Experience
• Reconciliation experience
• Access Database
