Our Network Engineers create, build and manage the technological foundations that enable our global teams to digitally breathe and collaborate effectively. The Role: 

You will be hugely pragmatic, hands on and a determined problem solver. Approachable to all and highly adaptable, working with technology colleagues and end users in every part of our business, you are often the face that users will associate with service excellence. Working closely with Business Analysts, Network Architects and IT Managers, you could find yourself involved in:

  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
  • Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
  • Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
  • Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades
  • Investigating faults in the network
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders.

Experience: 

You will need some form of technical background, with a mix of onsite and remote workforce impacted by the quality of your work. Ideally, some experience of building relevant network capabilities and onsite technology solutions, for a secure organisation, going through rapid growth, including:

  • Experience with Cisco switches and routers – CCNA or better certification preferred
  • Experience with AWS networking – essential
    • VPC
    • Transit gateways
    • Load balancers
    • Routing tables, security groups, etc.
    • Experience with Cisco Meraki is a plus
    • Experience with Fortinet FortiGate products
