Role and Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking newly qualified corporate solicitors for an exciting opportunity in a highly-regarded and growing team. You will have the chance to work on a diverse range of corporate transactions, often involving multiple jurisdictions, high-value deals, and complex matters. This role offers a unique chance to develop your skills and deliver exceptional service to world-class clients globally.

The successful candidate will:

  • Collaborate closely with various practice groups, including Corporate and Securities, M&A, Cross Border Transactions and Integrations, Reorganisations, Intellectual Property, Data & Technology, Data Privacy, and Capital Markets.
  • Provide valuable support to offices on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, spanning multiple jurisdictions. This includes undertaking significant due diligence projects, drafting comprehensive reports, and preparing corporate and commercial documentation.
  • Work as part of a project team, collaborating with lawyers, legal project managers, and members of the legal tech team from a global network of offices.
  • Assist in the process, coordination, and effective project management of matters.
  • Establish strong working relationships with partners and lawyers from various practice groups across different jurisdictions.
  • Contribute to specialized projects beyond billable matters, such as identifying innovative services, methods, know-how, and platforms to enhance efficiency and continuous process improvement.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Qualified solicitor in Northern Ireland and/or England and Wales.
  • Previous experience in commercial or corporate/M&A work within a reputable corporate/commercial firm is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, alongside individuals with varying levels of experience, as well as independently.
  • Sound commercial awareness and a strong client-oriented approach.
  • High standards of performance with the ability to achieve desired results.
  • Excellent writing skills and a pragmatic, commercial mindset.
  • Effective prioritization and deadline management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools.
