Part Qualified Accountant

This role is uniquely designed to support the accounting for the Payroll & Compensation team across the EMEA region. You will have the opportunity to work within a highly experienced team and vastly expand your skillset and accounting knowledge.

What’s involved?

Your key responsibility will be end-to-end ownership of the monthly Payroll & Compensation journal, which involves:

• Monthly payroll including taxes and benefits and bonus accruals in accordance with employment contracts.
• Proactively assist business partners in reviewing accruals
• Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure all processes are fully documented and reviewed.
• Supply analysis to support cash flow forecasting projections
• Assist in the preparation of annual Budgets and Forecasts for P&L and BS.
• Assist in the delivery of the annual statutory accounts
• Ensure an effective risk and control framework is embedded
• Responsible for compensation related queries during year-end audit process.

What the successful candidate will need?

• Part qualified accountant or qualified Accounting Technician with a recognised professional body (e.g., ATI, ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• Strong understanding of accounting principals
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools in a KPI driven environment.
• Experience of answering queries interacting with stakeholders
• Understanding of / experience in a strong controls environment (desirable)
• Skilled in ERP applications such as Oracle or similar
